2018 Connecticut Tax Changes to the Estate and Gift Tax Law

The 2018 Connecticut Tax Changes to the Connecticut Estate and Gift Tax include a gradual increase in the Connecticut estate and gift tax exemption.  The increses are to be phased in as follows:

$2,600,000.00 in 2018

$3,600,000.00 in 2019

$5,100,000.00 in 2020

$7,100,000.00 in 2021

$9,100,000.00 in 2022

Equal to federal exemption in 2023 and beyond.
